5th Grade Spanish

This week in Spanish we continued working on our greetings.  I am so proud of how these students are doing at not only being able to greet one another but how they are reading a small conversation and are able to understand what they are reading.  I do hope that they have shared with you.  We also talked about what Heritage means and why we celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month.  We high lighted Ellen Ochoa who was the first Hispanic woman in space.  It has been a great conversation of how our country is great due to the many different types of people we have that live here.

They will not have classes next week so no NEW study log will be given next week. They will have only the one that I handed out in class THIS week to turn in.  When we return they will have only one log to turn.  We will then move into talking about Dia de los Muertos
