Financial Aid Meeting for all High School parents interested

All interested high school parents: CCA is hosting a Financial Aid meeting for all interested parents to learn about the in’s and out’s of applying for financial aid for college.  The meeting will be conducted by Takeila Hall, financial consultant with The College Foundation of North Carolina (CFNC). The meeting will be at downstairs in the 1st floor CCA library on Thursday, March 15th beginning at 6:00 pm.  It should conclude between 7:00-7:30pm.

Takeila Hall, financial consultant with College Foundation of North Carolina (CFNC), will be making a presentation to any parents and students who want to understand how financial aid for colleges works.  This applies for students wanting to go to vocational/trade colleges, 2-year community colleges, and 4-year colleges & universities.

The financial aid application will open online nationwide for the Class of 2019 on Oct. 1st, 2018.  Financial aid awards are made on a first come, first serve basis!  Most colleges have priority financial aid deadlines as well and you must check with each individual college to find out their particular priority deadline.  Financial Aid awards will continue until state and federal funds are depleted.

Join us at CCA on Thursday, March 15th beginning at 6:00 pm in the media center for this most valuable program!
