Christina Harwell's Biography

Mrs. Harwell is the music and chorus/band teacher for Kindergarten & grades 6-11 at Cornerstone Charter Academy: A Challenge Foundation Academy. The 2017-2018 school year will be her 10th year teaching. She has experience teaching high school & middle school band, middle school chorus and elementary music. She is looking forward to another wonderful year at CCA-CFA.

Mrs. Harwell is a graduate of Western Kentucky University in Bowling Green, Kentucky.  She has had the privilege of living in and traveling to many places in the U.S. and abroad.  Mrs. Harwell's most recent trip abroad was her honeymoon to Jamaica two years ago.  Prior to that she took a mission trip to Kenya where she spent time teaching in several schools and orphanages.  She lives with her husband Joe and 1 year old daughter Jocelyn.  Mrs. Harwell and her husband are expecting twins in August of 2017 and are excited about their growing family.  She will return to teaching at CCA late this fall.
