Brian Webb's Biography

Welcome to my class! I'm excited for what this year has in store for my students. My goal is to engage, challenge, and support my students as they learn and apply the content I teach.

I grew up in small-town Iowa where I waved at everyone I drove past. I went to Judson University outside of Chicago, got married, graduated (in that order) and began my teaching career in 2000. I've taught in Illinois at a private school, in Honduras at a bilingual school, in Greensboro at a highly-impacted school, and here at Cornerstone. I have a MA from Greensboro College in Teaching English as a Second Language which has come in very handy as I work with students from all walks of life. My awesome wife and I have three kids who all attend Cornerstone. We like to travel, to be outside hiking, kayaking, or just being outside. We operate a non-profit (Hope for Tomorrow, Inc) that links donors to students who need scholarships to attend bilingual schools in Honduras and beyond. We attend Mercy Hill Church where I teach elementary kids and work with college students from several local universities.

I'm looking forward to getting to know my students and their families. It's going to be a great year!
